Lead Generation: Why is it so important to your sales and marketing?

Generating leads is one of the most important aspects of your sales and marketing campaigns. Why? Because you need to keep up with demand and have a continuous flow of new people in order to generate revenue. Your current customers are buying from you, but it’s not enough. You need more people who are interested in your brand as well. That’s what lead generation ensures for your company!

Lead generation is the process of attracting a person’s interest in the product and then nurturing that interest so they will make an eventual purchase decision. So what are some effective online lead generation tools?

Sponsored Ads

You can narrow down and target your audience based on location, demographics, interests and more. Sponsored ads are a great way to bring in new leads with the help of Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn and Google Ads Manager. If you worry about budget, you can get some ads started for as little as a couple dollars a day!

Organic social media can go hand in hand with sponsored ads. You can use organic social media to generate new leads by sharing your content, photos and videos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Social media has become the biggest hub to connect people and products. Remember, “content is king”. Building your online social presence is an extremely cheap way to reach new customers and generate new leads.

Blogging

Blog posts are a great way for you to share information with customers about anything that might interest them– from how-to’s or DIY projects, or advice columns relating specifically to the industry. Blogs help drive traffic to your website. The more people are driven to your website the more likely they will convert to a lead. Be sure to take advantage of all the search engine optimization tactics available such as title tags to get potential customers to your site.

Blogs are also a great way to generate leads because they foster an easy, conversational dialogue with visitors. Whether you’re blogging about your latest product or service offerings, helpful tips for customers, resources, and more– blogs provide the opportunity for potential new leads to get in touch with your business by filling out the contact form or contacting you via phone.

Email Marketing

Create engaging newsletters that will be sent out on a pre-determined schedule so you can consistently put your best content forward for potential customers. This is also an excellent strategy if you want to create drip campaigns to slowly be on top of the mind of the customer by generating a campaign focused on their interests.

As you’re sending out emails, be sure that the subject lines are compelling and enticing so customers will want to open up their email for what they think is an enticing offer or a flash sale.

So what are you waiting for? Get to generate those leads and watch your sales grow!

Why Your Business Needs a Social Media Strategy

Why Your Business Needs a Social Media Strategy

Social media has become a part of everyday life for people all over the world. It is no surprise then that social media has also infiltrated the business sphere, with many businesses now using it as an invaluable marketing tool to increase their visibility and generate new leads. However, running social media without any kind of strategy in place can be counterproductive; you’ll find yourself just posting for the sake of it, with little rhyme or reason, and as a result, seeing no return from such efforts. In this article, we will explore some important reasons for building a strategy.

The first reason you need a social media strategy is that it will help you build a strong, organic presence online.

– You’ll be able to plan out posts in advance, giving you time for content ideation.

– You will be more organized and consistent with your posting schedule.

– Your posts won’t feel forced or artificial because they’ll all have the same

Having a strategy in place will save you time. You won’t need to come up with a social media strategy on the fly. Your time will be better spent on content ideation and post creation, rather than trying to figure out what you should say next or how often you should post.

Make sure you understand the purpose and your goals for social media. Do you want to increase sales? Increase brand awareness? Make connections with other influencers? Whatever the goal may be, social media is a powerful tool that should not be overlooked or taken for granted.

While creating your social media strategy, be sure to think about your target audience.

Your social media strategy should be a reflection of your company culture and values. Make sure you stay true to who you are as well as what sets you apart from other companies in the same space. Your customers want to feel connected with the people behind the brand. They want honesty, transparency, authenticity, engagement, and relevance—all qualities that make up your brand!

Best practices for social media strategy

Some great strategies include posting on the same schedule, replying to any comments or messages you receive, and creating a system where your customer service team is both listening in on conversations as well as responding. The company that is able to consistently engage with its audience on social media will have an advantage over all other companies

Having a clear strategy in place helps you stay ahead of the competition. You’ll be able to predict and react faster, ensuring that social media is a true asset for your business. With frequent posting planned, you can concentrate on creating quality content instead of worrying about when to post. There are many tools online to help plan out your social media schedule online such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite.

Don’t let social media be a wildcard for your business – create a strategy and watch as it delivers the sales, leads, and customers you want.

Conclusion

The social media strategy for your business is very important. Without it, you’ll find yourself posting at random and never getting any return on investment. With a good social media plan in place, you can react quickly to the changing needs of your customers and always be one step ahead of the competition! How To Follow Up With Online Leads: 3 Easy Steps

How To Follow Up With Online Leads: 3 Easy Steps

Many businesses invest heavily in online advertising, but many of them don’t know how to properly follow up with their leads. It’s easy to get caught up in the push and pull of lead generation and forget about nurturing your leads until they become customers. If you’re a business owner looking for ways to maximize your advertising dollars, this blog post is for you! In this article, we will discuss three simple steps that will help you create a great first impression as well as long-term relationships with your prospects so they become loyal customers.

Step 1: Speed To Lead Is Crucial. Reach Out Quickly And Make Sure Your Solution Is Top Of Mind For The Prospect

It’s critically important to reach out to your leads as soon as they register interest, so your solution is top-of-mind. It’s all too common for people to see an ad on Facebook, sign up, and forget about doing so 30 minutes later once they’ve scrolled miles down their newsfeed. If you’re not reaching out quickly, ideally within 5-10 minutes, they’ll think of your company as a spammer.

We live in an instant-gratification world, where humans (unfortunately) have shorter attention spans than goldfish, so make sure you’re reaching out to any leads that come in as soon as possible!

Step 2: The Perfect Hand-Off Script For Online Leads

Part 1: Review the conversation or the questions the lead answered to find out exactly what they’re looking for

Part 2: Use your market experience to put something together of value for the lead

Part 3: Convey the value proposition you have for them.

Your script should look something like this:

“Hi (name), this is (your name) from (company name). I saw you were looking for _______. I also saw you’re looking for _______. Totally makes sense. I went ahead and did some research for you and actually found _______ that fit what you’re looking for!”

Here’s another example for real estate agents:

“Hi (name), this is Dave from Windermere Seattle. I saw you were looking for a two-bedroom home in a nice school district. I also saw you’re looking for a home with a large yard that would be perfect for your dog. Totally makes sense. I went ahead and did some research for you and actually found 3 homes that fit what you’re looking for! It’s going to be a beautiful day on Saturday, how about we go check them out? How’s your afternoon look?”

Creating a script that acknowledges the info they gave you and shows them you’ve already done your research will HUGELY improve the odds they respond to you in a positive way.

You don’t want anything too long-winded or drawn-out here – just something short and sweet that shows them you’ve taken some initiative.

Step 3: Add Them To Your Newsletter To Keep Them Up To Date & Keep The Conversation Going!

If you don’t already have a newsletter, you can easily create a free one through Mailchimp.com. Here at ZIMA, we recommend Mailchimp, Drip.com, or ActiveCampaign. All three options give you the ability to create newsletters and contact lists that can help you organize all your leads and remain consistent when it comes to following up.

Website Design: 4 Ways To Get More Leads & Sales From Your Website

It’s no secret that the internet is a powerful tool. In fact, it’s been said to have the power to make or break a company. With so many companies fighting for customers these days, having a well-designed website matters more than ever before. Here are four ways you can design your website in order to increase leads and sales for your company.

1. Know Your Audience

It’s important to know who you’re talking to and what their needs are before designing anything. Without knowing your target customer, it can be difficult to create a website that speaks directly with them on an individual level. This will increase the likelihood of converting a prospect into a buyer by understanding what they need from your company in order for them to use it or buy something from you.

Having a professional copywriter work in tandem with your designer can help you create the best content that people will truly resonate with.

Start by asking yourself these questions:

  • What does my customer want from me? Make sure you mention the benefits they get, don’t just list your services/products!
  • Which of my products or services will benefit them the most? Is it very simple for your website visitors to navigate to the right places quickly?
  • What is their pain point, and how can I solve it with what I have available to offer?

2: Design With Conversion In Mind

Your website doesn’t just need to look pretty, it needs to turn visitors into buyers! By having a professional create a responsive, conversion-focused design, your website will surely pay for itself in no time.

Here’s how you can make your website convert better:

  • Make it clear what is offered and why people should care.
  • Include testimonials, social proof, awards, or case studies to help build trust with visitors.
  • Use images that show off your services/products in a professional way – make sure they look high quality!
  • Add video content for those who prefer visual information over text – try an explainer video for new visitors to get them started quickly and convert more easily. Video marketing provides detailed visuals plus audio narration which makes it easier for website viewers to know whether you have the right solution for their needs.
  • Make sure there’s a clear call to action on every page of your website! If you want people to enter their info or purchase something, make it as easy as a simple click.
  • Avoid super long forms. People are much less likely to submit a form if there are more than 3 or 4 questions, so make sure you’re only asking for the information you need to contact them.
  • When advertising or running a marketing campaign, create a landing page or sales funnel. A landing page is a simple 1-page website with no menu that helps people focus on your product/service without being able to click around and get lost.
  • Include your contact information at the bottom of every page in case people want to reach you with questions or comments. This is also a great place for social media buttons so they can connect with you on those platforms as well.
  • For blog posts, offer an opt-in box where readers have to give their email address before being able to download the post (or read it). You’ll get more subscribers that way too.
  • Don’t forget about mobile devices! Your website should be easily readable and navigable on any smartphone browser if you expect visitors using this device type to visit your site often. Most new websites are set up correctly by default but just make sure yours matches up when viewing from a mobile phone’s web browser.
  • Do keyword research to help your website include keywords that will tell Google & search engines to boost it to more people.

3: Connect Your Website With All Your Business Tools & Software

The purpose of a well-designed website is to generate more sales/leads, and ultimately make your life easier (as well as your website visitors’!)

Tools like Zapier.com allow you to connect thousands of different software tools to each other, so an insane level of automation is easily possible.

For example, when a visitor completes an online form on your website to request more information about the products or services you offer, Zapier can automatically send that person’s contact data (name and email) into a spreadsheet in Google Sheets or directly into your CRM! That way you don’t have to manually input those records one by one.

Another tool we use is Typeform, which is a nicer-looking form that can be fully customized to ask visitors/leads any questions you want in a way that doesn’t turn them off. We’ve seen conversion rates double and triple after using Typeform to generate leads compared to generic website forms.

4: Hire A Professional Web Design Company That Has Results-Driven Marketing Experience

By working with a web design company that also has experience with online advertising campaigns, you get the best of both worlds; a beautifully designed website that is ready to impress as well as generate impactful results for your business.

So maybe you’re wondering, why should I hire a web design company to create my website vs. using something like Squarespace or Wix?

Hiring An Agency vs. DIY With Squarespace, Wix, and other website builder platforms.

Well, there’s a huge difference between websites that are created with marketing in mind and those that aren’t or are templated.

I’ve seen it too many times: A client wants to save some money by setting up their own Squarespace or Wix site, but actually ends up paying more AND has to spend days (if not weeks) learning how to use the platform to get a good result.

Let’s Break Down Website Pricing…

Companies like Squarespace & Wix charge a monthly fee of at least $12/month, and that’s for the basic plan (which usually doesn’t include e-commerce functionality). Once you stop paying the monthly subscription (which is usually closer to $30/month), your website goes away. When you have a team build your website, there are minimal ongoing monthly fees which can save you money over the long run, and you’ll never lose access to your website.

A web design company will be able to guide you through every step of the process; from figuring out what features your website needs such as eCommerce functionality or integration with social media, to finding the right technology partner for you like Google Search Console.
